Michael F. Magee was born in Pennsylvania, and made Phoenix his home in 1991. Mr. Magee obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, cum laude, from Arizona State University in 1998. Mr. Magee obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State university in 2001, where he served as an Elections Commissioner for the student government and as President of the Environmental Law Society. While in Law School Mr. Magee also won the 2000 ASCAP Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition for Best Copyright Paper for his paper, Joint Authorship Doctrine for a New Millennium. Mr. Magee joined the firm in 2006 after working for insurance defense firms where he handled complex litigation in the areas of Nursing Home Negligence, Product Liability, Construction Safety, Premises and Auto Liability, and Insurance Coverage Issues. The primary focus of Mr. Magee's practice as an insurance defense attorney was defending large interstate trucking companies in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Magee now devotes his practice to assisting those seriously injured through no fault of their own or who have lost loved ones due to the wrongful conduct or negligence of others. Mr. Magee lives in the Phoenix area and is active in many professional and civic organizations.
